Jonathan Courtney

Impact Director

Jon has a passion for helping people who want to help the world. After completing his graduate studies in moral philosophy at the University of Oxford, he worked at a number of nonprofits focused on building communities to do good, including Giving What We Can, the Centre for Effective Altruism and the Global Priorities Institute.  He has since moved back to Canada, where he is completing his PhD in Ethics and Public Affairs, with his research focusing on developing a framework to help governments more effectively pursue ethical development programs.
